Smiths Falls is an incredible town to visit and we look forward to welcoming you with our small town hospitality and friendliness. Located in the Heart of the Rideau Canal, Smiths Falls offers incredibly opportunities to explore and play outdoors.
In 2007, The Rideau Canal was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the summer months you can enjoy boating, canoeing, swimming and fishing or walking our vast trail system. We still play outdoors in the winter months too with ice fishing, skating and snowmobiling.
Smiths Falls hosts several festivals each year and is also home to the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario, The Heritage House Museum and the Rideau Canal Museum.
Whether you are coming for a day trip or to spend a week, you will enjoy our vibrant community and we encourage you to explore our many shops and restaurants. It’s a small town with big adventure.
