Very clean and well kept. Showers are cleaned twice a day but they are small. Half the sites back onto the Rideau Canal and are very nice with boats moving up and down thru the canal from lock to lock. Walking distance to shops and pubs downtown. Only issue is no sewer on sites but a good dump station is available. There are boat docks for vessels traveling the Rideau Canal System available. – jasper0803
Park is right on the Rideau Canal in downtown Smiths Falls. Easy walk into town.
Sites are on either side of the central road – on the canal or backing on to residential back yards – lots of trees on this side.
We had booked site backing onto the canal, but very few shade trees along the canal. It was hot (36C) when we arrived so we opted for a site in the trees. Much more comfortable for us as we do not have a/c yet.
Note: park has only water and electric – no sewers. There is a dump station close to office.
Park offers seasonal rates. There were some seasonal campers but they mixed in well with transients like us. Hard to tell who was who.
Highly recommended. We would stay here again. – DCM/JMB
Just a great park. We try to visit every year. If you stay on the canal side you can chat with the boaters while they move by between the 2 locks. You get to watch the bridge open to allow a parade of beautiful boats go by. You are right in the middle of a picturesque town within walking distance to everything. Clean restrooms and showers, water and electric. Dump station. Even the free wifi is good. – Smasma
Victoria Park, Smiths Falls, ON
- A beautiful setting
- Well managed and safe
- Convenient access to many shops and services
- With the added bonus of opening early and staying open long enough to welcome “snowbirds”, who carefully
count their days before “flying” south in the fall and returning in the spring, to enjoy the new season.
Thank You &

I have been a resident in Victoria Park for many years. I find the park to be maintained very well. The staff are very courteous and helpful.
As Smiths Falls is working to improve tourism industry I think this is one place that should have #1 precedence. I also enjoy the length of
time the park is open as a snowbird this is the best place to stay in Ontario. The cleanliness of the bathroom and showers is excellent.
Because the same people come back every year we have created a very special and happy community. We have BBQ’s, birthday parties and many
other activities we all participate in together. Most residents are senior therefore, the park is very quiet. I am looking forward to spending many more years in Victoria Park.
