Smiths Falls Civitan 14th Annual Festival of Trees

The Smiths Falls Civitan Club will be presenting the 14th annual Festival of Trees from Tuesday December 4th to Friday December 7th at the Civitan Hall in Smiths Falls. Wednesday, December 5th, will be the “GALA DINNER AMONG THE TREES” .  This event is for ticket holders. Tickets may be purchased for $60.00 per couple. Christmas Food Bank Challenge

November 1st- December 16th   2012 With the Christmas season upon us , the Food Bank is in need of items. Willowdale Retirement Cente & Van Horne Manor have challenged each other to a FOOD BANK DRIVE. Both homes will act as a drop off location for food item. The competion will run November 1st to Decemeber 16th. The home with the most items will win the challenge. Please drop off what you can at either home. Pickle Festival

Walk Your PAWS for LAWS Fundraiser

Two and four-legged participants meet at the Carleton Place arena for a 2K, 5K or 10K walk along the Mississippi River in Carleton Place, September 23rd, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Every step taken will help to raise funds for the animals of the Lanark Animal Welfare Society.
